Koh Waeo Island consists of Scenic rock formations in the open sea which can be reached by long-tail boat or speed boat from Bang Tao Beach.
The sea is very clear here (10-25m) and most of the corals are to be found in deeper waters. More experienced snorkelers with the ability to swim down underwater will get the most out of snorkeling at Koh Waeo since there is no shallow coral reef here. The island consists of 4 dives sites with the North and South covered with Coral Gardens, the West side has large stone formations and in the East you will find concrete cubes creating an artifical reef.
